where in the world is jorn barger?

many old timers who know jorn barger as one of the original bloggers who maintains[ed] robot wisdom and were alarmed to see he had gone missing. the story takes an odd turn when people start to wonder why it took jorn's roommate 2 months to notice that he was missing.

it appears that jorn's 'o.k.' and "...no longer desired to be where he had been.":

"I called the Sorocco PD at (505)835-1883 requesting any information they might have. Officer Richard Lopez returned my call immediately and let me know that Mr. Barger was not considered missing or in danger.

They recieved a report from his housemate roughly six weeks ago and made contact with Barger several days later, as he was walking down the street. At that time he reassured them of his saftey and stated that, "He no longer desired to be where he had been.""

so much for keeping that one low-profile.

[ about ]

this site chronicles the continuing adventures of my son, odin, who was unexpectedly born on the fourth of july at 25 weeks gestation, weighing 1 pound 7 ounces.

he's quite a fighter and you can always send him a postcard to the most current address listed here if you're inspired by his adventures. see the postcard project/google maps mashup to see a map of the postcards.

if you're new, you can browse the archives to catch up. and don't forget to watch a few movies that i made while we were in the neonatal intensive care unit. or if you want the abridged version and you can find a copy, you can read about his adventures in the november 2005 issue of parents magazine.
