the eric update - day 122: almost 4 months old!

whooohooo! little odin will be four months old tommorrow ( or almost 3 weeks old, depending on how you look at it.

we geared up for the big event by dressing him in his lucky number 4 shirt.

obviously you can't be eric c. snowdeal IV, born on the fourth of july, approaching your 4th month birthday and not have a lucky number 4 shirt on, now can you?

we tried to get him to hold up 4 fingers, but he wasn't cooperating.

WOW! He's getting so big and chubby! I can't quite wrap my mind around that fact :). Just a few months ago he was the peanut and now, he's closing in fast on being the elephant. Go ODIN!

Happy 4 month birthday, grandson! Wow - you are looking like a BIG boy with jeans and a T-shirt. You have come so far in the past 4 months. Give Pops and Mom a kiss for me. I'm waiting for the day when I can hold you. Enjoy being home and getting all that attention. Aunt Monica and Aunt Candy are coming to see you soon for Thanksgiving. Next year, you will be able to have some turkey. I'm thinking of you every day. Love, Gwanmanman Sherry

"it is hard to be brave," said piglet, sniffing slightly, "when you're only a Very Small Animal." rabbit, who had begun to write very busily, looked up and said: "it is because you are a very small animal that you will be Useful in the adventure before us."

[ about ]

this site chronicles the continuing adventures of my son, odin, who was unexpectedly born on the fourth of july at 25 weeks gestation, weighing 1 pound 7 ounces.

he's quite a fighter and you can always send him a postcard to the most current address listed here if you're inspired by his adventures. see the postcard project/google maps mashup to see a map of the postcards.

if you're new, you can browse the archives to catch up. and don't forget to watch a few movies that i made while we were in the neonatal intensive care unit. or if you want the abridged version and you can find a copy, you can read about his adventures in the november 2005 issue of parents magazine.
