the eric update - day 1464: enjoying a final birthday/vacation sauna before The Eye Exam.
is there a better way to wrap up a birthday vacation than with a nice, relaxing sauna sauna?
according to odin's mamma and her finnish relatives there isn't. odin's poppi isn't quite sure what to make of the sauna, but he's still trying after all these years.
and odin? well, he likes to take a sauna - just not when there's camera's involved :-)
our follow-up exam at the mayo clinic for odin's vitreous hemorrhage is on tuesday at 9 a.m. sharp.
we're all hoping that the the blood has completely cleared and the doctor's can get a good, long look at his retina so he doesn't need surgery just for them to assess his retinal health.
and beyond that we're hoping that they don't find retinal damage that would also require surgery.
