driving around a curve a pretty good clip, i was surprised to find this fellow in the middle of the road, eating some lunch.
he was just as surprised and barely made it off the ground before having an unfortunate run-in with my windshield. one tends to forget how large bald eagles are until they're 10 feet away.
luckily we were both safe and sound and he didn't seem to take it too personally.
