happy 11th anniversary to us!

11 years ago today, kris and i were married on the shores of bjorklunden in door county, wisconsin. i might be a little biased but i do believe the wedding would become known as The Greatest Wedding, EVAR!

my sister sent this to us after the wedding joking that since everyone else was going to send of beautiful photos from the beautiful day that she felt obliged to send us the worst photo. i think it's amusing that this is the only photo of our wedding that we have framed and i guess it exemplifies The Rule we have tried to live by that might explain the longevity of our marriage.

We Shall Never Take Ourselves Too Seriously.

hopefully kris will remember that rule when she discovers that i ruined the only copy of the photo trying to separate it from glass frame.

i did manage to get this bad scan through the glass before i ruined it. so, that's positive, right?
